Now and again Dan Hilton posts some of his thoughts to try and understand himself. Enough said.

Feel back in the blogging mood....

Today saw the resignation of a dear friend of mine. I'm sad that he chose to go, yet happy that he's found a nice way out and new job that offers him new challenges and stuff. Tommorrow sees the lobby of the Welsh Assembly about the devolved powers that they have regarding top-up fees. We (the students) want them (the Assembly members) to not bring in top-up fees that would bring the total fees to around £3000. Also individual institutions would be allowed to charge varible fees and thus create a 'market'. Now while market forces can bring greater cost savings and a leaner more professsional attitude to said instituions, education should never be, and if I have anything to do with it, a comodity. Knowledge should be free. Free as in beer and as in speech. I want people to be albe to chose the University they go to on its merits, not its bargain basement price on English & Politics.

Women are still the bain of my life. Well one in particular. Frustrating. Grrrr!
