The Swansea University Sci-fi Society owes its existence to pizza!

A meeting of three friends at a certain pizza establishment resulted in a conversation about something we'd all been thinking about...the absence of a sci-fi society in Swansea University. We decided to do something about it.

Society proposal forms were handed in, the Fresher's Fayre stall was booked, but none of us could have anticipated the events that followed. Rather than our stall disappearing into the background, many students were deliberately looking for us, intent on signing up!

Before Fresher's Fayre, we wondered if it would even be possible to get 20 members to sign up over the two days. We signed up over 20 members in just a few hours, and the numbers kept growing!
