The partridge and the pussy-cat.

This is getting a little boring now so I will just think of something to...
My God! The Partridge is back! RUN!!! I can see it now, it is opening the door, its in the 
living room, crossing the floor very slowly - WATCH OUT it has gone behind the sofa, 
I can here it breathing, it sounds hungry - I’d get out of there if I were you, its headed 
for the bedroom. Quick you’ve got a minute - it just fell over on the rug, but be fast 
that has just made it angry - OH NO! this could be loud - the cat has just spotted it  
slowly does it now, the cat is getting ready to pounce you can see the bum wiggling, 
the partridge doesn’t seem to have noticed - it is just quietly moving towards your 
bedroom and POUNCE the cat has missed by a whisker - unbelievable - the partridge 
is running, the cat is giving chase (this could be messy) they are haring round that 
living room behind the chair over the sofa - watch it they nearly had the lamp over then 
and they’re into the kitchen now the partridge is making a bid to get behind the bin but 
the cat has othe ideas (can you imagine how quickly I am now typing) the partridge 
has come out again and is heading for the living room but the cat is hot in persuit - this 
is one mighty partridge - and I think that the living room has been abandoned and they 
are going for the bedroom, I would mind those bed sheets you don’t want dead 
partridge or dead cat over them - I think this one is going to be hard to call, and they 
are neck and neck as they enter the final furlong and [ding ding] that’s the end of the 
round. The both go back to their respective corners, the cat to the blue corner the 
partridge to the red, now the cat has got the towel round its neck and is taking a drink 
while the partiridge is being psyched up by his trainer the Rt Hon. Mr Rubber Duck, 
OBE, while the cat is receiving the same treatment from Mr Elvis Presley, the local

seconds out and they are moving back to the centre of the ring, the partridge really 
looks angry this time as the referee moves out of the way of a cat that is almost
