Below is the team list for Exeter’s leg of SWWU (indoor)

Those in the team need to be available for team practise on Thursday 22nd November, from 6.30-9pm, and for the competition (of course) all day on Saturday 24th November. Please let Gwen know asap if you’re not able to make it so someone else can be considered for the team.

Those who haven’t made it on the team, don’t worry, there are a lot more competitions to come so get practising and remember to put in a score at some point so we know how well you’re shooting!

There is likely to be a few spare seats on the minibus so if you’d like to spectate for the day get in contact on Facebook and let us know. You will need to contribute towards the cost of the minibus, which is looking to be about £7 each, but for a trip to exeter and a fun day out its not too bad.

Swansea received an invitation to attend an open shoot being hosted by Blandy Jenkins Archery Club, in Llanharan, in memory of the club’s original Chairman, Mike Garrow, who passed away summer 2011.

Five of the University’s archers attended; Richard shooting Compound, Tori and Guy shooting Recurve and Ste and Gwenan on Barebow. After a great afternoon’s shooting the club took away a large portion of the day’s medals with Tori and Ste winning their categories and Richard and Gwenan both placing second in theirs. Richard, Guy and Ste also won some fun prizes for the best, worst red/gold arrow of the last end!
