As many of you know, myself and Peter haven’t had a lot of time to get the site on it’s feet correctly yet.

However, thanks to the end of exams, there should be some more information appearing on here in the coming weeks.

I’m currently working on getting the events calendar to work, and cleaning up the current club records, hopefully Peter and Gemma will be adding stuff to the site as the summer progresses as well.

after are AGM and all the amendments the new constitution has made its way to the documents page of the website. coming soon hopefuly the updated inventory…

Well from the shocked faces I can assume that people really don’t read these things so I am basically talking to myself. I wonder if I published the secret of immortality on this page would people find it lol (sorry random tangent there)

The AGM is over and done with, and only lasted 2 hrs which isnt that bad, also NOMINATIONS are OPEN

When you get the form from the email that Gemma will send out, please fill it in if you wish to run and then had it in to Gemma by the 8th May. Elections will be on the 1oth May

I am never sure if the club in general actually reads this but writting this is better than revision.

If you didn’t get Gemma’s email, the dead line for submitting anything for the agenda for this years AGM is this comming Saturday 17th April. Anything that is recieved after this time will not be added to the agenda for the meeting.

Its that time of the year for our AGM.

AGM
Our AGM will be held on the Monday 26th April.  It is important that everyone in the club attends, so if you’re reading this and are a member this means you!!!!

• The AGM is where we amend (add/change/delete) things to our constitution which will help the club.
• Anyone is allowed to submit an amendment, which could be concerning anything within the constitution and club.
• All amendments must be emailed Gemma by Saturday 17th April.
• If they do not reach me by this date the issue will not be raised at the meeting as they will not appear in the agenda.
• At the AGM only issues on the agenda will be raised so it is important to email me anything you feel needs raising.

Nominations will also open at the AGM for people to run for positions in next years committee, the positions that are open are:

• Captain
• Vice Captain/ Coach
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Social Secretary
• Equipment Officer

I’m currently working on adding information to the categories on the side, focussing mainly on “Other Helpful Stuff” as there is a lot of information do put into that section. However, this may take some time as quite a bit of the information is in the process of being written at the moment

The website is currently lacking photos at the moment, so if you have any archery related photos from last year’s shoots (both Uni and others), socials or anything random and connected to the club, then can you please put them into a compressed zip folder (right click -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder) and email them to: archery@wigouche.co.uk
